Ben's Journey with Disney

I've always had that itch to work at the most magical place on Earth and that dream came true on May 18, 2021. My journey began in the Mexico Pavilion as a merchandise cast member and in August of 2021, I was trained to be a coordinator in all of World Showcase East (Mexico, Norway & Germany).

First Week of Training

In April 2022 I got a the opportunity to move over to EPCOT Guest Relations! I got to work in all four parks and truly help Guests make their trip be more magical day in and day out. I learned a lot about patience and appreciation during my time in GR.

In July 2023, I had the opportunity to move over to the Park Planning & Integration team full time. This was the most fun I ever had in a role, we got the random catalog of tasks and projects to do. The cast member events were always my favorite days, I loved seeing our CMs feel appreciated.

In April 2024, I moved over to the Disney Meetings & Events team as a sales coordinator supporting the international market, and soon transitioned into booking all internal meetings for The Walt Disney Company. This was such a special team I grew close to like a family and learned so much along the way.

It's hard to say goodbye to something so good, but I'm ready for this next chapter and know I will be back real soon.
