Day 22 - Day at Sea - September 21, 2025

Today was a pretty uneventful day but that was exactly what we wanted! We slept in but couldn’t miss the Mickey churro waffles on the last day! I set an alarm just to run up to Cabanas and get a plate full for both of us and brought it back to the room. We did more trivia and watched a little soccer down in the pub! Of course as it was our last day we needed to get as much ice cream as possible.

It was our last dinner onboard and we were back at Enchanted Garden! This was the first time I had seen so many menus on an itinerary, a different one every night, and we loved it! Our server through the whole cruise was I Made from Thailand and he gave us all the tips and trips for our visit. Our server assistant was Brandon from Northern Ireland and he had an interesting background. He actually is a food and beverage manager at a Michelin Star restaurant but after 10 years they give you a paid sabbatical, and he is using his to work here!

We headed to the sail away party in the atrium for one last spectacular show! It was really cool to see how many people gathered together from all different parts of the world with all different stories. Obviously we couldn’t pass up the opportunity for Taylor to meet Chip in his little sailor outfit!

We went around the ship to say goodbye to our friends! We actually previously knew Joachim from working with him in the Norway pavilion at EPCOT. We had no idea that he worked for Cruise Line now! We also met Mike at the soft serve station and he is now our favorite crew member! He is from Thailand and this is his first DCL contract. While we were on the ship he had an interview to move to the sweets shop and got the role! If you are reading this…Hi Mike! Then we headed to bed for a big travel day tomorrow.

Off to a new country tomorrow!
