We are at sea! Part of the reason I love Disney Cruise Line is cause there is never not something to do and everything is included in the price you pay. We did a lot of trivia, won none of them, but were getting better! We also did one of my favorite things, Jack Jack's Diaper Dash. It's when all the crawling age babies race to see which is the fastest one. Then we headed to animation and learned to draw Pascal!
I always like to try and do something new every time I am on one of the ships and I have never done the sports simulators! I went up to do the golf one but it was not working but they said they had a generic one where you can play soccer, basketball, baseball and stuff so we decided to give it a try! We had a ton of fun and yes, Taylor made more shots in a row than me.
Today was optional "formal" night but we obviously didn't have space in our luggage for a suit and ballgown dress and opted for the casual formal. On 7-night cruises they always have a welcome reception with the captain of the ship and free drinks in the atrium. It was cool that the captain was from Croatia! Then we headed off to see Aladdin which was really good, the Genie this time around was very funny.
We had dinner at Royal Court on night two and may have forgotten to take a picture of the food but here is a selfie of us at dinner. I got pasta and Taylor got a salad! I love being able to get as many appetizers, entrees, and desserts as I want, especially since you don't have to pay! We decided to go to the game shows tonight which were Majority Minds and Match Your Mate. Taylor says her favorite part of the entire cruise is always the game shows.
We woke up with another day at sea! We initially were supposed to be going through the fjords of Norway on this day but since we left late we weren't going to get there until it was dark outside. But oh well, things happen! We started with an ice cream cone and more trivia, followed by a little lunch.
We did a bunch of games through the day and obviously won all of them. One was a team race game and Taylor participated! Then we headed to guess who is behind the curtain and we killed that. I honestly didn't know that Minnie Mouse owned a cat though. We headed off for the show tonight which was one of the variety acts. His name was Jamie Raven, a magician who had finished 2nd on Britain's Got Talent!
It was our first night at Animator's Palate which is one of my favorite restaurants on DCL, Crush comes on the screens on the wall and interacts with you! They also have the truffle tortellini which is both our favorite dishes. We skipped the gameshows tonight and headed back to the rooms to get some sleep since we have an early morning tomorrow!
Landfall in Norway tomorrow!
