Day 16 - Embarkation Day, Disney Fantasy - September 15, 2025

We have officially seen every inch of both North and South Terminal at London Gatwick. We landed in the North Terminal and had to go to the South to get to the hotel. Then we needed to take a bus from our hotel back to the North Terminal to meet the cruise transfer, but they ended up walking us back to hop on the coach in the South Terminal. But alas we finally were on board and on the way to Southhampton which was about 2 hours away!

Embarkation: Disney Cruise to Norway

Part of the reason we took the shuttle instead of the train was because we got a priority boarding group onto the ship! Thank goodness we did since they were running very behind at the port with boarding and the lines were astronomical. We got super excited when we saw the first cruise line signs and headed down the gangway.

First stop was obviously to grab a some soft serve, there is normally only chocolate and vanilla the first day but that was exactly what we wanted! We then grabbed a little lunch at Cabanas and finally our room was ready to drop our bags off at. Then we decided to do our laundry first thing since almost everything was dirty at this point, and headed straight for the sail away party!

The first trivia we went to was brainteasers, and to say we struggled is an understatement, we got 7/20. Then we headed to obviously grab more ice cream and walk around the ship! This is Taylor's first time on the Fantasy, but the Dream has the same layout so she was sorta familiar. We then headed down to the Skyline Bar to see what they had!

We opted for the late dinner rotation so every night dinner would be at 8:30 and the show in the Walt Disney Theater would be at 6ish. There was no show night one so we decided to rest for a little while and walk around. There is supposed to be pretty bad storms tonight so they really tied down the chairs on the deck! The lobster ravioli is one of my favorite dishes on all of DCL and was so excited it was at Enchanted Garden on night one.

Nothing but floating on the water tomorrow!
